This Habitat for Humanity project was to be located in Santee providing new ownership opportunities for deserving families. As a part of SDA design team, my role as project manager / project architect started with concept design and took the project through Discretionary Permitting with the City of Santee and through 100% Design Development. We were very excited to be able to include thermal chimneys for natural ventilation and the client was exploring the inclusion of panelized construction. Unfortunately this project lost funding and is not going to be built.
